The course is focused on the use of C# in conjunction with the TIA-OPENNESS API. Facilitation of design tasks in the TIA Portal environment using a user application.

DI-OPCUA (OPC UA in connection with CPU S7-1500)

The course is focused on the safe and effective use of the OPC UA communication protocol in conjunction with the S7-1500 CPU Communication with the S7-1500 CPU using the OPC protocol.

TIA-SEC (Security in the environment TIA portal)

Security in the TIA portal environment

With the growing requirements for cyber resilience in the field of industrial automation, new functionalities have been integrated into the TIA Portal. The course focuses on these new functionalities and describes the possibilities of securing projects, control and visualization systems and communicating with them. It also includes an introduction to the concept of user management, digital certificates and methods of encryption of communication protocols.

The course does not deal with the area of Safety, i.e. the operational safety of the machine.
